Trinity Pre-School offers part-time pre-school education for children aged two-and-a-half to five. We offer a minimum of three sessions. These can  be a mixture of morning, afternoon, or all day sessions.

Children should ideally be toilet trained before they start and we're happy to help children work towards this.

The pre-school operates a waiting list policy. We recommend registering with us as early as possible. You can print off an application form from this website and send it to us.

We are now able to offer ad hoc sessions. Please talk to staff and we will do our best to meet your needs where spaces are available.

SESSION TIMES – Flexible 15 Offering

Trinity Pre-School  offers the government's Flexible 15 scheme. The session times reflect the government’s requirements for this Scheme. 15 hours of funded childcare is available for children aged 3 and 4. It becomes effective from the term after your child has turned 3 years old.  Once your child has come of age, he/she will have access to a maximum of 15 hours worth of government funding each week.

Admissions and  Session times

Trinity Pre-School is a registered charity. Its main aim is to provide affordable childcare.  It is managed by an elected Committee of volunteers, generally made up of parents of children at the pre-school. These volunteers put in a lot of hard work to manage all the aspects of the Pre-school. This keeps overhead costs down, thus providing you and other parents in Henley with high quality, low cost childcare. We are always looking for new additions to the Committee as and when specific roles become available. We hope that you will also volunteer at some point in the future. Our Constitution also requires us to hold an Annual General Meeting. You will be informed when this meeting is due.  All parents and carers are welcome.

Pre-school staff are employed by the Committee. Supervisor Anita Gonzalez is in charge of the day-to-day running of the pre-school.

The Committee reviews and updates policies adopted by the pre-school,  copies of which are available on the noticeboard. Another important role of the Committee is fund-raising. Various events are held throughout the year to raise money for books, toys and equipment.   The Pre-School accepts childcare vouchers.

Trinity Pre-school is a Registered Charity No.   1023282

Trinity Pre-school is OFSTED inspected. We are also a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

Where a child attends for more than 15 hours per week, parents in receipt of the funding will be charged for the extra hours. These additional hours will be charged at the rate of £5.50 per hour. Please note that the total of 15 funded hours can be split over a maximum of two providers (but a total of 15 hours per child cannot be exceeded). The deposit is £80 (£30 is non refundable and £50 will be returned to parent the term before their child goes to school).
We are now taking funded 2½ half year olds, and mixing 2½ year olds with 3-4 year olds.  Parents can chose all day or half day sessions Monday to Friday with a minimum of three sessions.

Morning and afternoon session times are the same each day

Morning   8.45 – 12.30

Afternoon 12.30 – 15.00

All children attending morning sessions will be required to bring their own named packed lunch.  Packed lunches will not be refrigerated.  Children will eat at 11.35am.  In hotter weather it may be advisable to put a small ice-pack into the lunch box.
